As Gerfried Guggi and Thomas Thurner felt the strong urge to do interdisciplinary top-level design they founded A38. Both full-heartedly believe in functional and aesthetic principles in order to design content. Their love for aesthetics as well as their devotion to design is expressed in a passion for new media. First and foremost, A38 focus on graphic design, photography and film.
Gerfried Guggi and Thomas Thurner actually live and communicate their credo not only with and to their customers but also with colleagues. This collective, an interdisciplinary community of excellent designers, makes it possible for A38 to work on projects of various scopes leaving only a small economic footprint.
State-of-the-art equipment provides an experimental technology sandbox and makes it possible for A38 to work on the cutting edge. This casual ease paired with design and technical skills results in high flexibility and scalability when it comes to work with our clients and co-operation partners. Even when realising great visions, the organisational workload stays small for our customers.

The A38 team plans, realises and edits film productions, fancies analogue looks and digital techniques, makes multi-dimensional animations and favours scissors and paper over mouse and computer. Graphic design is, of course, an essential part of their work and acts as independent discipline to complete the range of aesthetic disciplines.
