Thomas Thurner
During his studies of Information Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Graz Thomas Thurner was especially interested in 3D modeling and animation, at A38 Thomas is responsible for graphics and animation and he supports the company with his commercial background. In his opinion, design is ubiquitous, because every human-crafted object is designed in a certain way but often with low priority. His aim is to sensitize people to good design and to be able to create a network of creatives that can share experiences, opinions and constructive energy. “In the first place, design is a decision, then it’s a matter of mind and craft.” Interested in every aspect of design, Tom particularly loves smart ideas and abstract solutions for essential problems. He gets his inspiration from and is influenced by design in general, old movies, modern art and nature. To keep his own mind open he likes to do sports in his spare time, especially football, American football and tennis.
